Learn And Grow At The Ike's - In the SHOOTING DISCIPLINES of Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays.
The SCTP is a program offering kids from elementary age through college the opportunity to learn and grow in the sports of Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays. Supported and promoted through the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF), this is a fast-growing program that teaches discipline and focus through the shooting sports with the opportunity to take success through and to the USA Shooting and a path to the U.S. Olympic Shooting Team.
The Izaak Walton League in Kokomo sponsors a team of shooters called ‘The Ike’s Young Guns’. The team started in 2016 and continues to grow team members each year. If you are interested in becoming part the The Ike’s Young Guns or to acquire further information contact the Head Coach, Damon Fulp, at 765-620-0893. To view the Ike’s Young Guns practice schedule see the calendar below.
The SCTP season begins March 1st and ends with the Nationals around the end of July. There are 3 major shoots during the season: The Mid-State held at the Ike’s in Kokomo; the State, location announced after season begins because it can vary from year to year; and finally the Nationals held at the Cardinal Center in Marengo, Ohio.
