The SASP is a program offering kids from elementary age through college the opportunity to learn and grow in the sport of Rifle and Pistol Shooting.

All school-age boys and girls in Grades 12 and under that have the physical, mental and emotional maturity to participate in a team sport are eligible to participate in SASP.

Currently the IKE’S Young Guns are looking to start a team consisting of four to six boys and/or girls, that would be interested in this team sport.

Getting Started:

School Age: All school-age boys and girls in grades 12 and under.
Pistol divisions begin in grade 6. Rifle division can be in lower grades, if the athlete can handle the firearm.

(Team members may shoot Pistol and/or Rifle)
Pistol: rimfire – 22lr, Iron sights, 5 Magazines
Rifle: rimfire – 22lr, Iron sights, 5 Magazines
Eye & Ear Protection
Range Bag or Box for the Firearm
Ammunition is also the responsibility of each athlete. Most athletes shoot around 2,000 rounds per season for one discipline. Rifle and pistol are two separate disciplines.
