2024 Upgrades to the Rifle/Pistol Range
A special thanks goes out to the Friends of the NRA for helping us be able to do some much needed work on the Rifle/Pistol Range this year. The Friends of the NRA awarded us a grant of $10,000.00 to make some improvements on our range. Some of these improvements include extending the overhang for more opportunities to shoot from the 10, 25 and the 50 yard range while being under a covered roof. Cleaned up the berms for the 10, 25, 50 and 100 yard ranges to make for more shooting area. A whole new area was poured in concrete and covered with roof extending the covered shooting area. A lot of gravel was installed around the entire area. There is not a big drop off of the concrete onto the ground when going to retrieve targets anymore. There was quite a bit of brush and small tree removal to make the entire range a much better place to shoot. We also want to thank Tim Stahl of Rec to Tek for donating his equipment and time to accomplish this project.
